Will these redirects work?

Hi, I want to redirect my old store to my new Shopify store. The old store address is http://www.mystore.com. The new store address is http://shop.mystore.com. How do I need to create those redirects in the file? I see that the file template assumes the information before the / is the same domain for both the old address and new address. If I use the entire domain for both columns, will that work? Do I need to include the http:// in front of that? Otherwise, how would I do it?

The store addresses I used in my question were examples to make the conversation go easier.

Hello,

Your domain at www.mystore.com needs to pointed to your Shopify store in order for any redirects to work. Shopify redirects only work for stores hosted on Shopify.

Hi John, the old store, www.mystore.com, has my blog, which will stay at its current location. (not shopify). So you are telling me I can't do redirects if both platforms aren't on Shopify?

Transportr is designed to work only with the Shopify redirect system. There's no way for us to create redirects that work on other platforms outside of Shopify.
