Setting UP

Does the website that I am doing the redirects for have to be live?

Re-directs not working despite the products being hidden.

I have tried to re-direct 16 products, however they have not appeared in our re-direct list and they are showing up 404 pages even after I have hidden he products.
Please find the URLs below:

CSV is empty?

When I upload the CSV file to bulk upload redirects it comes up that the CSV is empty? It is definitely not.

Allow Us To Export 404 Logs!

This thing would be complete if we could export the 404 logs to csv format. Please allow it. Would make things so much quicker! thanks for the awesome tool

Finding Shopify Links

Maybe this is obvious... and I'm missing something. but,
I need to 301 old URLs to the Collections in Shopify.
I have the list of old urls How do I get the list of Shopify URLs ?

Is this only a Shopify to Shopify redirect offering?

Hi there! I need to set up 301 redirects for my client's current site (not Shopify) to their new Shopify site. Is this even possible with Transportr? I set up a redirect but it only looks like it works internally. Thank you!

ANSWERED

Import Errors and duplication of redirects

When doing a bulk csv import we get a string of errors that imports are failing. Our CSV structure appears to be as required. Some redirects also have duplicated. Structure as:
/about-us,/pages/about-us

ANSWERED

CSV import failing

I have the same issue as another user here, where the import says file is not a CSV. Using a Mac is not an option. I cannot get it to upload at all using Firefox on Windows 7. I've gotten the upload to work using Internet Explorer 11, but so far the entirety of the import has failed (300 and counting), none have been marked as importing correctly.

301`s passing through a Transportr url before going to correct url

I have been doing a bunch of work for a client moving sites over to Shopify... so when I saw your plugin I was relieved as creating thousands of 301's manually was not something I wanted to do. However I only just discovered that the 301`s do a redirect through a transportr url first and then onto the correct url... my worry is that search engines only pass page rankings and other relevant data through a single redirection hop. Using unnecessary redirects can have a negative impact on page ranking.
So with it 301 redirecting to a transportr url first and then onto the correct url I am worried what we could lose everything!!
